NBSC GIVES TEACHERS SURPRISE TRIBUTE DURING INTRAMURALS 2026 OPENING PROGRAM
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) honored its faculty on October 5, 2026, with a special segment during the opening program of Intramurals 2026 at the NBSC Covered Court.
Students prepared surprise performances and messages of gratitude for their teachers. They also presented gifts to faculty members and joined them in lighthearted games, putting both sides in friendly competition.
The tribute formed part of the National Teachers’ Day observance, held every October 5 under Republic Act No. 10743. It also took place during National Teachers’ Month, observed from September 5 to October 5 under Presidential Proclamation No. 242, s. 2011. The occasion gave students an opportunity to recognize the work their teachers do both inside and outside the classroom.
The gestures offered faculty members a welcome reminder that their efforts are noticed and appreciated. For the students, it was also a chance to give back some of the encouragement and support they receive throughout the academic year.
